Raising Funds for Mending Minds
This year’s event proudly supports Mending Minds, a grassroots community group in Portland dedicated to reducing the rate of men’s suicide. Their mission is to support men aged over 19 who want to improve their mental health and well-being, build meaningful connections, and be supported by other fellas around them.
Show your support, by making a donation. The total amount raised will be announced on the night. This is a local cause that supports local men.
Get ready for a night of glitter, glamour, and giving back! The Royal Hotel Drag Show Extravaganza returns on Friday 16 August, and this year it’s bigger, bolder, and more fabulous than ever — all in support of a great local cause - Mending Minds!

ANDREW BRYANT
From signs to sequins — Andrew’s hoping to make a statement!
This fun, kind, and adventurous Portland Signworks local (with a soft spot for wine and his stunning wife Vehlia) is ready to swap everyday charm for full drag fabulous — but he needs your help to get there. -
BRAD TOZER
From Portland Aluminium to the drag stage — Brad’s trading steel caps for stilettos (temporarily).
He’s a proud dad, mental health advocate, and tireless volunteer… but are we ready to see him sparkle, spin in heels, and unleash his inner glamazon? We think yes. -
CRAIG SIMMONDS
Mechanic by day, and hoping to be queen for a night.
A fan of old cars, campfires, and caravanning, Craig’s the gayest straight man we know — and proud of it!
He’s hoping to rev it up for a night full of sequins, sass, and serious strut. -
STEPHEN CHAPMAN
Phones, footy, and fierce potential — Chappy’s done it all.
From mentoring men’s health to repping local sport, he’s a community powerhouse with a heart of gold.
Could Chappy be the hottest drag in town?
